Whey Protein has long out sold powdered egg protein primarily on the basis of taste. Now a liquid egg protein is available but is it worth it?
While at the 2006 Arnold Classic Expo, one booth caught my eye, Egg Whites International. I am no fan of egg white protein because of the awful taste, but they had a sample chocolate protein drink and I thought I’d give it a second try. I was ready pucker my face as I normally do with egg protein, however no such pucker came. Actually, the taste was pleasant and I became interested in hearing more about this protein.
Egg white protein normally comes in powder form which tastes pretty lousy. Eggs Whites Int protein is in liquid form was tasteless at least in that chocolate drink.
The Eggs Whites International are not raw egg whites separated and sold but rather they are pasteurized and processed to insure disease free consumption. The liquid is no longer clear but yellow. Actually it looks like urine which at first sight is disgusting. As I heard the guy talk about this product, he recommended that you mix in a shake flavored with fruit, yogurt and, yes he mentioned, whey protein.
His claim on Egg White protein is that it is 100% bioavailable. By this, the body in theory can utilize every single gram of this protein. According to them, whey protein is only 70-80% bioavailable. With this information the salesmen takes a leap of faith as far as I’m concerned and states that whey protein can only support muscle growth for 2-3 hours while Egg Whites last 4-5 hours. It’s unclear to me if he means egg whites digest more slowly and time released or that more protein will last longer. If latter is the case, then simply add more whey protein to diet should match the egg protein duration.
Nonetheless I had to give this product a try, so I order 2 gallons. Getting this product is going to be a bit different than whey protein. Don’t expect your local health food store to distribute since, it has to be refrigerated. And I don’t expect to see it in frozen food section at grocer anytime soon either. I received my two gallons mostly still frozen in insulated lined container. I popped one in the frig and the other in the freezer.
As of this writing, I have tried this protein three times. I mixed it chocolate whey the first time and was really good. The last two times I mixed with strawberry whey and fresh strawberries. All in all, compared to a non egg white protein shake, these seemed a bit richer. I guess that should be expected.
If you want the in depth cost cost comparison of whey protein vs this egg white protein. Please check out my article at

Why do men seem to get uncorked and do all kinds of strange things at their children’s ballgames?
There is the loud type who feels he has to bark directions at his Little Leaguer as the boy or girl is at the plate.
And there is the even more aggressive type who is compelled to argue with soccer and basketball referees.
Finally, there is the guy that goes completely overboard, picking fights with fellow parents, umpires, and even league officials, when they’re around.
What do these behaviors have in common and why do they come out during athletic competitions and not when their kids are singing in the glee club?
I believe it all boils down to emotion. Men have emotions but are famous for suppressing them.
But we’ve been taught and have observed that it’s okay to show strong emotions in one place: at a sporting venue.
For example, my dad was a mild-mannered gentleman. Universally, people thought he was a nice guy, and I agree with that assessment.
But when he’d hit the ballpark, he morphed like a vampire or the wolf man.
He’d bark out encouragement to me in the strangest, guttural voice. I didn’t have a problem with it, but I did notice something was askew.
I have always speculated that at some level he was imitating either the guy that sold newspapers on the corner, or someone he saw at old Comiskey Park, in Chicago, where the White Sox played.
Normally, a very controlled guy, he let it rip and let his emotions show at the baseball diamond.
And I believe men who go overboard, unlike dad, believe that’s okay because they have no other places where they can permit their aggressions to come out.
By the way, when league officials have cracked down on aggressive cheering and have invoked rules of silence for the sidelines, many men have complained that much of the joy has been removed from kid-sports.

Prevailing one’s life in the finest stage is, by and large, everyone’s innate ambitious. From this matter of fact, we can rightly assume that everyone is ambitious.
Yes, everyone is ambitious, but why not everyone achieves their ambitions? Concentrating on this philosophical question, I have reached one answer: “because not everyone is genuinely ambitious.” This article will cover the differences between plain ambition and genuine ambition.
Yes, everyone wants to live in luxury, in term of materialism and idealism (dignity and scholarship), but this group of everyone is reluctant to set off the journey to their ambition destination. The reasons that I call this group of people: plain ambitious people, because they are reluctant to start the journey, hesitate to challenge the problems or any drawback, scare of new things or of the differences, and finally, does not know or implement my life-improvement formula: “ambition and perspiration must absolutely be on par with one another.”
I dare to say that this first group of ambitious people will never reach their ambition destination, because their human ignorance is prevailing. The second group of people is called: “the genuinely ambition people.”
This group of people accepts and implements my life-improvement formula: “ambition and perspiration must absolutely be on par with one another.” To be short, genuinely ambitious people know the truth behind success, and these truths are daring to face challenges and differences, never apply sit-and-wait tenet and finally struggling and always struggling to their destined ambitions.

Accounting is the measuring, and disclosure or provision of assurance about information that helps managers and other decision makers make resource allocation decisions.
How to become an Accountant.
Accountants in the US are called Certified Public Accountants and in the UK and Canada are called Chartered Accountants. Chartered Accountants in Canada are expected to know all US CPA knowledge as well as a Canadian Accounting body of knowledge. In order to become an Accountant an undergraduate degree is required and then a period of articling is required which can take as long as 5 years with gruelling exams and an exhausting series of finals.
In her notes compiled in 1979, Professor Linda Plunkett of the College of Charleston S.C., calls accounting the “oldest profession”; in fact, since prehistoric times families had to account for food and clothing to face the cold seasons. Later, as man began to trade, we established the concept of value and developed a monetary system. Evidence of accounting records can be found in the Babylonian Empire (4500 B.C.), in pharaohs’ Egypt and in the Code of Hammurabi (2250 B.C.). Eventually, with the advent of taxation, record keeping became a necessity for governments to sustain social orders.
Perhaps the most significant benefits to contemporary accounting has been the introduction of computer programs to assist in the accounting function..Computer programs were introduced in business and government organizations in the 1950s, and the most important applications of computers have been in the areas of record keeping, balancing , and transaction recording.
Accounting uses various bases of measurement, mainly the cash basis, the accrual basis (or historical cost) and variations of these; all of these functions are greatly assisted by the use of various accounting software programs.
Accounting is tied to the invention and dissemination of the double entry bookkeeping process.Different Accounting Software Solutions available today:
ACCPAC web-based accounting, launched the ACCPAC Online web site in 1999 which allows end users to run ACCPAC from a simple browser for a small monthly rental fee.
Intuit’s QuickBooks for the Web represents a new product from scratch. Microsoft Small Business Manager is a new player on the block which is a scaled down version of Great Plains Accounting Software. Netledger centralized net computing renamed Oracle Small Business Manager Peachtree. This product was the older Peachtree Office Accounting product and is also a web-based solution. In 2000, Peachtree added a web-based module to its’ flagship Peachtree Complete Accounting product called Peachtree Web Accounting.
SAP mySAP - web-based accounting featuring a limited number of SAP modules.
So it appears that there are 2 different types of Accounting Software:
Web Based Accounting: which is one application on a Web Server running everybody’s application.
There are of course advantages and disadvantages to this type of application, immediately coming to mind is confidentiality and the security of the Servers being used as well as possible breakdowns.
Advantages are of course in being able to use unlimited Server Resources. And then there is PC Based accounting which everybody has tried and is Bill Gates favorite.
Advantages;
In-house control of everything but subject to limited resources.
J Shipper is very interested in Accounting Software.

Not to sound vain, I often receive several compliments on my dentition and the apparent absence of any sign of tooth decay. Besides my mother’s genes; other factors come into strong play: Proper Maintenance and Diet. Most People in the west pay very little attention to proper dental hygiene or use absurd chemical substances such as toothpaste containing the poisonous fluoride in a quest to avoid or perhaps repair tooth decay.
Furthermore, they wonder why halitosis still persists. Nothing more is required to clean the teeth than a firm tooth-brush and a little un-iodized sea-salt or if you are adventurous, a chew-stick (ask any African Friend if you have one.) Moreover, daily consumption of leafy veggies is essential as a natural step to curtailing tooth decay.
Tooth Decay: Causes of Cavities
Cavities or tooth decay can be caused by constant acidity in your mouth which is a consequence of over consumption of acid (mucus) forming foods. Eating these foods leads to acidic blood which would rob calcium from the bones as this is necessary to neutralize the acids. (Which is one other reason to reduce high protein foods of the vegetable kingdom Eating foods that have excessively high potassium and phosphorus contents without the counter balancing calcium makes the body rob its own self of calcium which causes tooth decay. Honey is another culprit in the cause of cavities (along with white sugar). No one is saying to not eat nuts and seeds or less harming grains like rice, millet, quinoa or amaranth but be sure to offset them with green leafy vegetables and of course reduce the consumption of them. By the way, for a way better source of first, proteins: instead of excessive nuts opt for avocadoes, green coconuts, dates and olives. Secondly for Carbohydrates: Sweet fruits and root vegetables. Illustrated below will be a recommended method of cleaning the teeth. Tooth Decay: Preventive Measures and Cleaning Procedures. 1, First rinse the mouth with a little saline water first thing in the morning. 2. Now brush the teeth first in an up-and-down rotary, motion, working the upper incisors, canines, molars and premolars. (Ensure to brush the anterior regions). 3. Perform the same procedures in 2 on the lower teeth. 4. Rinse the mouth again with saline water. 5. Now massage each tooth with your clean index finger, ensuring that you reach the 6. Rinse the mouth again. 7. Massage the gums with the fingers in a mild sideways motion. This is essential as it strengthens the gums and squeezes out the impure matters from its pores. 8. Rinse The mouth. 9. Now massage the upper palate of the mouth all the way to top of the tonsils. 10. Rinse the mouth. Also, keep in mind that nothing can cause tooth decay as fasts as nuts, seeds and grains in excess. According to research on the perfect health and excellent dentition of the Polynesians, whose diet was composed of 85% Starchy Root Vegetables, as soon as a change in their diet occurred by replacing their staple foods with grains, they started to experience excessive tooth decay early in childhood. This goes to show that a diet comprised of mainly Fruits, leafy and root vegetables, will be the best choice to avoiding tooth decay along with the steps above. Don’t permit yourself to be exploited by the many marketers and charlatans out to make a fast buck on the expense of the vulnerable, to gain a healthy and beautiful smile (and perfect health) first make the suggested change above to a healthier diet and apply the steps given above for lasting success. Remember, in the words of Henry Ward Beecher: Make your smile beautiful starting today. There’s a running joke among my friends that the odd jobs never
get done around the house because the man of the house can’t do
it without the right power tools - which he hasn’t bought yet.
Most women, on the other hand, have never met a nail that can’t
be hammered in with the heel of a shoe or a screw that will
stand up to a nail file. I’m no exception - my “tool box”
consists of one Phillips head screwdriver, two flat screwdrivers
and a ‘lady’s hammer’. More often than not, though, if I need to
break into my computer’s case, I’ll send a kid out to the
kitchen to bring me back the butter knife with the flower on the
handle - it’s the only one with a narrow enough tip to get
seated properly in those tiny screws. Even I have to admit,
though, that there are some power tools that make impossible
jobs easy as pie. In fact, there is one power tool that no woman
should be without, especially if she’s living alone.
Essential Power Tool Survival Kit
Number one on the power tool hit parade is a cordless electric
drill. If you’ve ever spent forty minutes trying to hang a towel
bar or curtain rod, you’ll swoon over what an electric drill can
do for you. Sure, given the time and the right nail file, you
can get any screw into any wood - but why spend 20 minutes
twisting your wrist when an electric drill with a screw bit can
have that little sucker in place - tight and flush - in less
than 30 seconds?
Electric drills are also the best - and sometimes only - way to
get a screw that’s gone in wrong UN-stuck. Once you have a power
drill in the house, you won’t know how you ever did all of the
little fix-it jobs without one. It’s easily the handiest of all
the power tools to own. The best drill to own? One with a 3/8″
chuck and variable speeds, including reverse. It will set you
back $25-$50 and be worth every single penny.
More than Power Tools - The essentials you need in your tool kit
1. A claw hammer. While I can drive any nail with the heel of a
shoe, getting nails OUT is a different matter. A 16 ounce claw
hammer is an absolute necessity for all sorts of jobs around the
house.
2. A screwdriver set. There are some screws your trusty nail
file just won’t handle. Pick up a good screwdriver set that
includes flat heads, Phillips heads, star tips and a set of hex
keys. If it also has a set of socket tips for unscrewing nuts,
you’re in great shape.
3. Adjustable pliers, needle nose pliers and wire cutters.
4. Tape measure.
5. Duct tape.
6. An assortment of nails, brads and screws.
Tools aren’t just for men. They can make your life much easier -
and save you money on repairs around the house that you never
thought you could do yourself. If you haven’t made friends with
the power tools aisle at your local hardware store, it’s about
time you did.
You hear them at champagne-flowing parties. You hear them in crowded trains. You hear them in bumpy buses. And much, much too often you hear them at weddings.
They’re a curse and abomination to many people everywhere, but to a couple about to be married, they’re the absolute limit.
The organ bursts into a triumphant wedding march, followed almost immediately by a high-pitched ring-ring, ring-ring of a mobile phone. “The wedding’s just started,” you hear someone affecting a whisper. “Call you back in a tick.”
“I, Michael, take you, Wendy, to be my lawfully, wedded wife.”
Ring-ring, ring-ring, from another direction. “Sorry about that, folks, forgot to switch off my mobile.”
The celebrant pauses, greeted by breathless anticipation, but as he is about to make the solemn pronouncement, several mobiles go off at the same time. One is just the ordinary, penetrating shrill, the other begs Polly to put the kettle on so we can all have tea.
It should have been expected that this state of affairs could not, and would not be borne. As I speak, the fight against the invasion at weddings of the evil mobile is well in hand.
Keep an eye on the order of service that’s going to hit you at the next wedding you’re attending and don’t be surprised if it goes something like this:-
(a) Opening song performed by Dimity, the bride’s sister.
(b) Call to prayer by Reverend Marsden, the groom’s uncle.
(c) Call to switching off mobile phones by the MC.
To reinforce the idea that mobiles will not be welcome at the wedding, couples now place on their invitation, just under the RSVP, a very distinct PS, “Please leave your mobile at home”.
But because obsessions are obsessions, are obsessions, the bride and groom determined to have their guests talk to each other rather than into their mobile, have evolved yet another strategy.
As each guest is about to enter the room, he or she is presented with a long-stemmed red rose by a charming little flower girl. While the guest’s attention is thus diverted, the best man or the maid of honour, depending on the sex of the guest, remove any mobiles detected on the person concerned. Immediately confiscated, the mobile is returned to the guest at the end of the festivities.
And if, as sometimes happens despite all precautions taken, the solemnity of the ceremony is broken by either a ring, or some light-hearted ditty, before the guest so much as moves his hand towards the sock where he’s secreted the offending piece of plastic, he is quickly seized by a couple of burly ex-footballers, and ejected unceremoniously from the room.
So let it happen to every wedding guest who forgets to abide by the wedding guest code, “While at a wedding, I shall speak to every other guest at least once, and two or three times if practicable, and will not use a mobile at all”.

Personal injury claims are made when a person suffers injury from another person, object, or company. The injury can be physical, emotional or financial. The only thing is that, it has to be proved. Personal injuries may include: slip and fall injuries, nursing home abuse, car accidents, defective product injury, exposure to toxic materials, medical malpractices, wrongful death (due to negligence), drug injury, dog bite or job injuries.
Personal injury claims can be from the person/persons who have actually caused the injury or from the insurance company. A personal injury claim must address two main issues: liability (the person charged is truly and legally responsible for the damage) and damages (the damages claimed truly reflect the exact extent of the injury or loss suffered). As per Torts Law, the case can be based on any of the three grounds: negligence, strict liability and intentional wrong. In case of injury resulting in death, the family members of the deceased can claim damages.
Persons who file an Oregon personal injury claim are eligible to receive compensation for their pain and suffering, loss of income, permanent disability (if any), emotional distress, and any other injuries that have been proved to be a result of the personal injury.
For filing a claim, it is important to prove that: 1) the person/persons/company is legally responsible for the injury and 2) the damages claimed really reflect the real extent of the injury or loss. These two elements, known as liability and damage, are very important for personal injury claims.
Personal injury claims are subject to statues of limitations, which mean that the claim must be made within a particular time period from the time of the injury. Statues of limitations differ from state to state. Oregon has its own statues of limitation for personal injury cases.
While making personal injury claims, it is better to consult a good attorney who has expertise and experience in dealing with such cases. Information about these lawyers is available in Oregon yellow pages or on the Internet. Friends, colleagues and family members are also a good source of identifying a good Oregano personal injury lawyer.
